Our philosophy

We’re passionate about great products and effective communications. We believe that design and marketing are highly inter-dependent, and that excellence in each is critical to sustained business success.

Too many software products and web-sites are over-complex, counter-intuitive and hard to understand. Iforma was founded on the belief that even the most complex software tools should be rewarding, intuitive and natural to use.

What do we do?

Leveraging over a decade of experience across design, marketing and management, Iforma facilitates cost-effective development of desirable, well-differentiated products through best-practice design and marketing consulting services and training programs.

Why do you need us?

Your competitors are making adequate products that their users tolerate. We can help make your brand and products the ones they fall in love with. Let us make sure you reach optimal design and marketing solutions for you business. Efficiently, predictably and repeatably.

Who is Iforma?

The Iforma Research consultancy is owned and operated by Gareth Morgan, a patent-holding designer and marketer with over fifteen years experience creating award-winning professional software products for vendors including both Microsoft and Avid.

We apply structured methods for understanding markets and people's needs, and deploy precise knowledge tools to turn market data into desirable products that make people feel fulfilled and become more effective. Our methods are based on the fundamental belief that everyone deserves to feel pride in what they do, and so the digital products they use must be rewarding in their own right.

Our approach is different from traditional approaches that put development first and everything else after. We combine robust product design best-practices with proven marketing methods to offer complete and effective product solutions. Context is the unexplored frontier in software design, and as users are increasingly challenged with the ever more complex tasks, our methods rapidly tease out the salient characteristics of their activities and use them to inform the design process.
